Bells has just released a stunning album called Blurring Time on which Bells recorded the songs prior to making his gender transition. He initially recorded vocals with his pre-transition higher voice and then went back and recorded his new, deeper voice to harmonize with himself. It's a beautiful recording that truly documents this major life change for Bells. We talk about how he made this recording and how he will bring these songs to life when he performs as part of Pique this Saturday at Arts Court. Pique is an amazing quarterly day-long celebration of music and the arts produced by Debaser at Arts Court here in Ottawa.
