An interview with Lucy Dacus about her music and her most recent album Home Video

LUCY DACUS!! Today we feature an interview with one of my favourite people making music: Lucy Dacus. The interview was recorded the day before her performance at RBC Ottawa Bluesfest on July 14th. We talk about her exceptional 2021 album Home Video and some of the themes she's exploring in the songs on that recording and on her two previous albums. She provides interesting insights about the sounds on the album as well. Lucy is gracious and giving in this interview and thinks a great deal about the amazing music she creates. Lucy also provides some sound advice for Rage Against the Machine frontman Zack de la Rocha about touring while injured, as he was continuing to tour in July despite sustaining a serious leg injury during a concert in Chicago on July 11.
