Today we talk to Dave Merritt who has been active creating independent music for over 20 years as part of The Golden Seals. We listen to some original songs by Dave and the Seals and explore some fantastic covers that the band has created. We talk about the process of creating great music and spend a lot of time going down various pop culture rabbit holes. Dave also explains why he will be dropping the name The Golden Seals and continue making music with his bandmates under a new name soon.
