An interview with Indigenous musician Matthew Cardinal about his solo album of ambient music titled Asterisms

Today we talk to Matthew Cardinal about his ambient, instrumental album Asterisms which was released in late 2020. Matthew is an Indigenous musician who is also a member of the group nêhiyawak - which has been described as a moccasingaze trio. Matthew talks to us about the inspiration for these instrumental pieces and how he recorded some of them. He gives some interesting details about plans he has to perform them live hopefully at some point in the future.
