Today we talk to Chris McKhool of the Sultans of String about the group's 2020 album Refuge - which explores themes about refugees and marginalized communities in Canada and around the world - and an upcoming Zoom concert on Friday, November 27.

Today we talk to Chris McKhool, former Ottawa resident and one of the members of the Sultans of String. We talk to Chris about the group's latest album, Refuge, which was released on March 20th ... just as the world was shutting down due to the COVID pandemic. Chris talks about how the Sultans lost an 80-date tour of the USA as a result of the pandemic and challenges they have faced as a result of the shutdown. Chris is a very positive person and he talks about how he has used the time to learn more about ZOOM and how he is using the technology to help The Sultans of String put on virtual concerts.
