An hour with Tim Booth and the music of James - Insightful interview with Tim Booth
A fantastic hour featuring the music of James and a lengthy interview with Tim Booth - the lead singer and principal lyricist of the band. Tim was very gracious at the end of the band's set at the RBC Bluesfest last summer (2019 - back when we had festivals) and spent 20 minutes with me talking about his music, creating setlists that include new and old songs, politics in music, balancing his personal life and his relationship with his son with life on the road as a musician... and Brian Eno. Yes, at the tail end of the interview Tim offers some interesting insights into one of the most brilliant musical minds of our time. Tune in and hear some great songs and the stories behind them, and get inspired by one of the most prolific, consistent and inspiring bands to ever come out of England! Thanks to Tim Booth for his time last year at Bluesfest!
