Interview with the Fugitives and Petr Cancura about the Ottawa Winter Jazz Festival

The first half of the show featured the music of Efrim Manuel Menuck (Godspeed You Black Emperor, Thee Silver Mt. Zion Orchestra) as he has just released a new solo album "Pissing Stars" and will be in Ottawa on Friday, February 9th at the 27 Club. Unfortunately he didn't make the call for his interview but we played a lot great music from the new album to entice you to head out to that concert next week. https://www.spectrasonic.com/event/1616899-efrim-manuel-menuck-ottawa/ We then spoke to Brendan of the Fugitives about the group's new album "The Promise of Strangers." They are in town to do a sold out house concert so no gig to entice you to see at this point. We'll have to have Brendan back to talk more when the Fugitives have a club gig. We do talk about the song No Words and how it came together as a tribute to Leonard Cohen.
