Interviews with Loon Choir and Taylor Knox

A couple of interviews didn't work out today but we played lots of great music for some upcoming concerts. Katie Moore is at the Black Sheep Inn in Wakefield on Saturday night, November 21. Yukon Blonde is at the National Arts Centre on Sunday night, November 22. Loon Choir is performing at the Black Sheep Inn on Friday night, November 20. The band has just released a new, very fresh album titled All of This and Everything Else. We talk to Derek Atkinson about the band's attention to detail and it's big expansive sound. He also talks about his writing style and those moments in songs when he breaks into verse - sometimes ranting and at other times exploring deep emotions. It's all part of this amazing new album that you should definitely check out. Finally Taylor Knox got caught in Toronto traffic but managed to call in at the tail end of the show to talk about his debut e.p. Lines. He talked about making 3 chord power pop rock and working with artists like Rich Aucoin and the Golden Dogs among many others. Taylor plays at Irene's on Friday, November 20.
