Awesome Ottawa singer-songwriter Kalle Mattson joins me today as co-host. We talk plenty about his music and his upcoming show at the National Arts Centre 4th Stage a week from tonight - Thursday, November 5th. Matthew Good is also coming to the National Arts Centre to perform on November 26. We talk to him about a variety of things: his love of Nina Simone; the importance of music and art in the world to help us see beauty; how hard it is to get good music on the radio and what the new Canadian government needs to do in order to revitalize Canada's role in international affairs.
