KC Roberts brings his big, funky band to the Rainbow Bistro next Thursday night (Oct. 15th.) We talk to KC about making charts for his music for his band, the challenges of touring with such a large group and the overall fun of creating funky music live for a dancing audience. Also we talk about the Hamilton Hustle and how it was written to pay tribute to the people of that great city. Corey from Rain Over St. Ambrose missed his call in time but got in later on the show. The band's latest is a smart rocking album that fans of the Constantines and the Hold Steady should like. We talk about making smart rock and then taking it to the stage. The band plays the Raw Sugar Cafe next Saturday night, October 17th. We also talk to Taylor of the Tourist Company, revisiting some of the space race themes explored on the groups last e.p. and we talk about what to expect from the new album that will be out this fall. The group plays the Raw Sugar Cafe tomorrow night - that's October the 9th.
