But she had some interesting things to say and it's worth giving it a listen for sure. Her gutsy new e.p. She has a great set of pipes and really nailed it on her new release with solid production that gives the songs a real live feel. Tom Wilson?.... to talk about how Miles Davis influenced the sound of this one and to let us know that he will have a smokin' band performing with him at City Folk on Sept. 18th. The band has released its first album under the name Quiet Parade, although Trevor and his bandmates have recorded together before. Trevor explains how things have transitioned from a solo act to a group effort. Quiet Parade's debut is a lovely album that may appeal to fans of Death Cab for Cutie and Folly and the Hunter (not perfect matches but you'll know what I mean) and the band comes to Wakefield's Black Sheep Inn next Saturday, Sept. 19th. http://www.quietparade.com/ Get out and see some live music this week!
