A great show with lots of interesting talk about music. The Tourist Company has released an e.p. called Space Race that captures (in song) some of the sentiments of the 1960s around the race to get into outer space. Taylor joins us to talk about the group's music. The Tourist Company plays at the Raw Sugar tonight (March 12.) Elliott Maginot didn't make his call but give a listen to his music from his fabulous new release Young/Old/Everything In Between. He is playing on Saturday night (March 14) at Cabaret LaBasoche in Gatineau. We hope to talk to him on a future show. Philip Sayce brings his blistering blues-infused guitar rock to the Rainbow tonight (March 12) and the walls will never be the same!! We talk to Philip about his blues/roots legacy and how his music fits into the continuum of this amazing music. Check out his new album (out in a couple of weeks) entitled Influence. Finally we reconnect with our old pal Richard Underhill of the Shuffle Demons. The jazz funksters and sometimes pranksters bring their music back to Ottawa for the first time in many years at the Rainbow Bistro on Friday night (March 13.) We talk to Rich about the new music on the new album Clusterfunk and the mix of fun and "serious"in the music of the Shuffle Demons.
