Interviews with Justin Rutledge, Shannon Rose of Gold and Marrow and the Cardboard Crowns

Justin Rutledge talks to us today about his fabulous album from 2014. It's called "Daredevil" and on it Justin reinterprets 10 songs by the Tragically Hip. You can hear him play some of these songs and others from his previous six albums when he's at the National Arts Centre next Friday night (Jan. 23.) Shannon Rose recently decided to change the name of her recording and performing group from Shannon Rose and the Thorns to Gold and Marrow. She explains why she made this move and some of the ideas behind the beautiful songs on her latest album "Forever." Gold and Marrow will be at the Black Sheep Inn tomorrow night, Friday, January 16th. After a short hiatus, Aylmer, Quebec's Cardboard Crowns are playing another local gig on Friday night (Jan. 16th)at Mavericks. Francois Cunningham joins us to tell us about what the band has been up to and what to expect at Mavericks tomorrow night.
