Music of Bach as well as some contemporary reworking of Bach's music with Christos Hatzis' "Overscript: Concerto for Flute and Chamber Orchestra
Today marks the 266th anniversary of the death of Johann Sebastien Bach. We will hear some Bach as well as some contemporary music reworking Bach's music with Christos Hatzis' "Overscript: Concerto for Flute and Chamber Orchestra", a work which includes Bach's entire flute concerto BWV 1056 in fragmented form as part of a larger structure.
Christos Hatzis' incredible "Constantinople" for Piano Trio, Soprano, Arabic soloist, electronics is having a rare performance Tuesday as part of the Ottawa Chamberfest.
