Ultraääni Records (experimental, improv, avant garde) Pt.2

Ultraääni Records is a record label operated by visual artist Arsi Keva basically from his basement located in Tampere, Finland. "Ultraääni" in Finnish is "Ultrasound" in English. Keva founded this ongoing project to collaborate with musicians, to help his friends to get their music published, and to make records that are unique art objects. The numbered editions of the records published by Ultraääni are small, usually from tens to a few hundred. Along with making unique objects, the hand printed sleeves and small editions are also a practical solution. Ultraääni Records has been active since 2016. The label started out publishing experimental rock, folk, dub reggae, electronic, hip hop, psych, and in recent years has focused on jazz, funk and avant-garde. Arsi Keva has designed album covers for labels Jazzaggression (Greg Foat), RR GEMS (Soft Power), Fnr (Misha Panfilov), Helmi Levyt (Tiiu Helinä), and Afro7 Records (The Scorpios).
