Marilyn Lerner is a multifaceted Jazz pianist that straddles many unexpected boundaries. She played with Tito Puento, Steve Lacy, Lori Freedman, Gerry Hemingway and many others. Her association with Matt Brubeck (son of Dave Brubeck) certainly adds a lyrical side to her eclectic playing. Tonight we will sample their Ugly Beauties – Strange Attractors CD.
