Ottawa Pianist Steve Boudreau vs Thelonious Monk
Ottawa pianist Steve Boudreau, who studied at the New England Conservatory is still among us and will be performing again this coming Friday at GigSpace, at 7:30pm. This time he will tackle the music of Thelonious Monk. He will be in the studio in preparation of this concert to explain his approach to Monk’s music through his favorite recordings by various other pianist in addition to his own recordings.
