Hamid Drake is one of the foremost drummers of the Chicago and New York scenes since the ‘80s. He will be playing this coming Friday, March 15th in duo with Ottawa percussionist Jesse Stewart at GigSpace (two shows). Although known as one of the most radical Free Jazz players, Hamid Drake cultures a extreme sense of time way in line with Jazz history.
