A tribute to the late, great, Phil Nimmons (1923-2024)
Phil Rista Nimmons passed away peacefully at home on April 5, at 100 years old. The clarinet-playing leader of Nimmons ‘N’ Nine and Nimmons ‘N’ Nine Plus Six, was also a prolific composer. In the first hour we will profile Nimmons' recordings and in the second hour we will hear other artists playing his compositions, including The Nimmons Tribute, a group that includes his grandson.
