Two hours, two albums, two jazz duos.
In honour of Jazz Appreciation Month, host Natalie McGrath kicks off a new series on In A Mellow Tone, called "Dynamic Duos".
This series will highlight powerful pairs or iconic collaborations in the name of jazz who teamed up and as a result, had excellent chemistry, success and or impact.
Tonight, listeners will hear two albums, from two duos, to showcase their collective talents.
The first half of the show will spotlight music from Duke Ellington and Ella Fitzgerald, and the second half will exhibit the music of Herbie Hancock and Wayne Shorter.
