A sampling of some of the MANY fine recordings the famous bass player has appeared on, plus a few of his own recordings.
The online Lord jazz discography (www.lordisco.com) has over 1200 entries (sessions) for Ron Carter; the Guinness Book of Records says over 2200. I am inclined to go with the discography, not that it matters much.

Oops! It was only after this show was recorded and submitted for airing that I realized Ron Carter could not have been the bass player on the 1956 Rollins tune, as he only started recording in 1960. So I don't know where that came from. Oh well, at least it's a cool track. |
