Hidden Treasures: Superb recordings I didn't know I had

One of the pleasures of having way too many CDs is coming across treasures you didn’t know you had. Tonight I’m featuring two of these. From 1964 comes vibraphonist Walt Dickerson’s Impressions of a Patch of Blue, with a very rare and very fine sideman appearance from pianist Sun Ra. And then it’s on to the 1995 recording My Foolish Heart from bassist George Mraz, joined by pianist Richie Beirach (one of my favourites) and drummer Billy Hart.
