MINGUS IN AMSTERDAM: Four magnificent pieces from the Charles Mingus Sextet’s April 10, 1964 concert in the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Holland. This exceptional sextet was made up of Charles Mingus, bass and leader; Johnny Coles, trumpet; Eric Dolphy, alto sax, flute, bass clarinet; Clifford Jordan, tenor sax; Jaki Byard, piano; and Dannie Richmond, drums.
