Straight Outta Boone County was a co-release between Bloodshot Records(Chicago) and Shake It Records(Cincinnati). Released in 1997 it was a celebration of two "Old Timey" radio shows on WLW: Boone County Jamboree & Midwestern hayride. These programs aired between 1939 and the early '60's. this release features Bloodshot and Shake It artists recording their versions of songs originally aired on the two above noted programs.
