Patton, McTell, and the Sheiks, Part I
Third Man Records and Document Records (formerly 'Roots Records' - fitting) came together and reissued the "Complete Chronological Works" of these three great Blues legends. Tonight, we listen to Lloyd juggle a few tracks from the first three LPs in the series.
*Note: The Charley Patton record's track list was printed incorrectly. I found this out the hard way (a little late, mind you), since a lot of the Patton tracks were beyond confusing to cue up tonight. In addition to the incorrect track list, the actual label stickers on the record were on the wrong sides (side A on side B, and vis versa), adding even more confusion!
Thanks for putting up with my juggling, folks!
