Sifting through Rumours

A peek under the hood of the 1977 classic rock mega smash hit album by Fleetwood Mac, with a batch of demos and raw early takes culled from this year's "35th" anniversary edition of the old chestnut. This is sort of an imaginary unvarnished version of the album, with all the tracks in the same order as the original record (with the exception of Silver Springs, which was cut for the length limits of '77's vinyl records and is here restored to its intended position), minus that final high-gloss polish of the antique late 70s.

I love this album. Great to hear different versions of these tracks, but... As you said in your intro Rumors got a lot of airplay on commercial radio. I listen to CKCU for music that I've never heard before and bands that aren't played on commercial radio.

Yep, I hear you on that one, Ears. But I thought I's truck it out anyway, since these rough cuts certainly aren't played on commercial radio in the same way. I figured it'd be a worthwhile hour for us!

A couple tracks: great. Then I'll go out and buy the album, but a whole show, not so much. I want variety! Maybe even a Canadian artist or two! Don't get me wrong, I am enjoying this, but I expect more from the Mighty 93!
