A journey through Dave Godin's Deep Soul Treasures: A 4 volume series, each individually released, between 1997 and 2004, on the Kent Soul label in London. Dave Godin was a music enthusiast whose passion for soul and R&B helped establish and propel the British desire for the music. These compilations have been a primary resource for not only me, but countless others who have relied on Godin’s knowledge and understanding on the genre to guide us into its heart and soul.
