Hav u noticed we suffer from a Plague of media interviews now full of, "You know"!!!!! "umm" was bad enough but, " You know" is ubiquitous!! CBC is the worst....

@ HB... yup, oh, ya, I notice... I try very hard and it's a "creedo" of CKCU... however when things are "live" or not, most if not all people are guilty of umms and ahhs. We were trained so hard, and at the begining of this recording process, I spent at least an extra hour editing my umms... but no more... It's the brain pausing looking for the info, and we people have issues with silence, so we do the ummm..... and ahhhhh.... ummm.... ahhhhh.... ummm. ahhhhh
