IP Looney was born in 1881, an oddly shaped infant, to an oddly numbered household, in an oddly positioned farmhouse, outside Aweebit-Tipsy Ireland. Later in life in London, he impressed the Duke of Gloucester Silly Billy so much that he named IP his Steward to his Canadian Land IP arrived in Gloucester in 1900, set up a still, and met and married Mrs Looney. In the next 29 years he had 29 children. Mrs Looney was related to Joseph and Michael Cyr, and changed the name of Looneyville to Cyrville. In 1930 IP decided to open and renovate a resteraunt. Because as IP puts it, “when you’re cookin for 29 what’s another 2 or 3 hundred”. Joining me today are the creators of that story and more.
