Sorry I'm so late in providing information but here is some info on Colin Swan and the Direct Hits, Blaamm! Records etc. Colin was originally in the band The Exits and later in the band The Direct Hits who released some music on Edward Ball & Dan Treacy's Whaam! Record label. As you already know Dan Treacy & Edward Ball were the founding members of the band Television Personalities - the UK cult legends. Anyway the Direct Hits started a cassette tape label Direct Tapes and released a ton of material which has sadly never been released on CD. Colin's new label Blaamm! Records tries to correct this by releasing some of the recordings originally available only on cassettes as well as recordings that were never released which is most of the stuff on the Lost Love House Recordings. The Love House was the name of their recording studio and Colin would write a lot of music and get his friends to record them. Lots of information can be found on the Blaamm! Records, Direct Hits web site. Hope that helps a bit & I would probably need a whole hour to explain it all.

As for Roy Moller, you got it right, he had so many songs we had to release 2 albums "There's A Thousand Untold Stories" and an extra disc "There's A Thousand More Untold Stories". Thanks for playing Roy's music!

Hi CKCU first of all thanks for playing the tracks from our Long Lost Love House Recordings CD. As a band The Direct Hits always wrote a lot of songs, but a lot of them never got used because they were deemed unsuitable for a mod band, hence the build up of so much random material! After the band split, I decided to seek out different singers and bands to come in to our home studio in London to try recording some of my song mountain. They were all obscure singers and groups, we were going to release them on an album in the mid 90s but things changed, and they remained untouched in our archives. So yeah, most of them are my songs, but not all. I'm glad you like some of them, and thanks for the support!
