I wanted to revisit this theme for the show this week, so I decided to make this a recurring show theme every once in a while. I always find the coolest and most underrated older songs online at random points and always save them to play on the show sometime. This week's setlist is a great mix of soul, psychedelic, and baroque pop to enjoy .𖥔 ݁ ˖ ✦ The throwback spotlight artist for this week is Margo Guryan, who was well known for her songwriting and eventually for her singing in the late 60s. She was only 19 years old when she first signed with Atlantic Records to begin writing songs for them! Margo released one album under her name in 1968 and later, compilations of her demos were released before she died in 2021. Some people may be familiar with her jazz-style songs because they've been covered by other artists without them knowing that she was behind them. Tune in to hear more about her!
