Just Literature and Neurodiversity

Welcome to two new archived episodes for today's hour. First up, with Kristina Smeriglo, we talked about her going through university and crafting her book "Falling into Fire." It's relatable for people since when you fall in love, you're falling into something that could be too hot to handle, like the Netflix show. Also, when you are coming of age and puberty comes into play, it could be new, and especially if you are navigating it all for the first time, it could be scary. Then with Ed Thompson we talked about the challenges that neurodivergent people could face in society (school, jobs and relationships). But as much as they might be reluctant to change, they are the people who think outside the box and could perhaps bring the most change, and that's a positive outlook. Neurodivergent individuals face various challenges in society, including social stigma, misunderstanding, and discrimination.
