Joey Stylez is a Cree-Métis hip-hop artist from Saskatchewan, known for his music and advocacy for Indigenous talent. Stylez is recognized by the CBC as one of the top 25 Canadian rappers of all time, and won multiple awards. He is a successful rapper and producer who opened a recording studio, Blessed Street Studios, to mentor emerging Indigenous artists. His work includes collaborations with many artists, and his debut album, "The Blackstar," was named after his Plains Cree grandmother, Christina LaPlante.
