At the end of this show I mention that next week's theme will be "Hello in There." I will also begin the show with some recordings to remember David Johansen.

It has been a difficult time with the passing of so many gifted artists in a short span of time. After listening to this tribute by Mike today, I would encourage all CKCU listeners to On Demand to also listen to Elorious Cain's tribute to Roberta Flack on The Groove this past Saturday. May Roberta Rest in Peace.

Thanks Neil. I recorded this show before I heard Elorious Cain's tribute to Roberta Flack. Interestingly, we only had one song in common.

Ballad of the Sad Young Men, was written by Tommy Wolfe & Fran Landesman for the 1959 Off-Broadway musical, The Nervous Set. Rickie Lee Jones also has a great version.

Thanks Neil. New Orleans is one of my favorite cities but I don't think I'm going back to the U.S. until they change their ways and re-embrace democracy.
