The theme for this edition of Stranger Songs is "Remembering Happy Traum."
Happy – who died on July 17 at age 86 – was a great guitarist, folksinger and songwriter known both for his solo work and for his partnership with his younger brother, the late Artie Traum. He was an important figure in the folk revival, from the early-1960s until his passing.
