Mike, what a wonderful show and tribute. I wish I'd known/known of Bill Staines. In my missing years I missed a lot. But I plan on making up for it by sourcing as much of his music as I can. This is one show I'll keep bookmarked for future listening - especially for the yodelling! My condolences on the loss of your friend.

I was introduced to Bill Staines about 40 years ago and have been a huge fan ever since. I even got to play my version of Ol' Pen for him at Blue Skies once. He listened with great grace as I stumbled though it. My friend Jay and Rita Kassirer do a great version of Roseville Fair. I'm sad today.
