| The first half of todays episode features Ottawa based musicians who are taking part in ENCORE OTTAWA.
ENCORE OTTAWA was Produced by the Ottawa Music Industry Coalition in partnership with Rogers TV, Apartment613, Shenkman Arts Centre and Meridian Theatres @ Centrepointe, Encore Ottawa is a unique collaboration between non-profits, local arts media, and the City of Ottawa; made possible thanks to Ontario Creates and the Ottawa Music Development Fund. Designed to meet the needs of local musicians whose opportunities to perform and record are drastically limited by necessary COVID-19 safety measures, these high quality video showcases will give Ottawa acts the opportunity to develop new audiences both locally and abroad. The project granted artist fees to more than 40 professional musicians and generated weeks of work for the Shenkman Arts Centre technical staff, whose state-of-the-art venue was dark due to COVID-19 cancellations.
