Short Story by John Moore - The Golden Surfer - Sit back and relax ; nothing like being read to!

Good afternoon and welcome to In My Good Books, I’m your host Pat Moore. Today I’m going to read you another story by South Frontenac Storyteller John Moore, my brother. At some point, I believe these short stories should be published together as the memoirs of a man who lived his life his way, from backing to Mexico in the 60’s, to meeting his true love, and together building a homestead in South Frontenac, on a beautiful forested acreage which was off grid for the early years they lived there. To this day, they continue to follow their dream, and happily receive visits from their sons and daughters-in-law, grandchildren, and siblings and their families, enjoying fresh clean air and family time. Covid-19 has put a hold on much of this, but there is a light at the end of this tunnel, and the fruits of their labour will continue to bring family together soon.
