Episode 3 of The Silent Summer of Kyle McGinley, read by Anne Nagy. This award winning novel was written by Ottawa author, the late Jan Andrews. It's a wonderful story suitable for teens or adults.
Kyle is still refusing to speak but inside he carries on a conversation with his "friend" and continues to hear his father's voice making fun of him. He's beginning to like his new foster home, but wants to continue not speaking.
