Reading from Louise Penny's 2nd novel, A Fatal Grace. Chapters 1 & 2 followed by music

LOUISE PENNY is the author of the #1 New York Times and Globe and Mail bestselling series of Chief Inspector Armand Gamache novels. She has won numerous awards, including a CWA Dagger and the Agatha Award (seven times), and was a finalist for the Edgar Award for Best Novel. In 2017, she received the Order of Canada for her contributions to Canadian culture. Having finished Still Life last week, I felt it was a good idea to find out what Armand Gamache is up to next, so on to her second novel in Louise Penny's award winning "who done it" series, A Fatal Grace. Here we are introduced to a new character, CC de Poitiers, her daughter, and her reluctant lover, Saul Petrov. We know right from the first paragraph that CC's days are numbered... murder is in her future. In Chapter 2, we also peek in to see how our old friends Clara and Peter Morrow are doing, and Myrna. Clara is finally ready to spend some of her inheritance.
