Today we'll hear my interview with Tim Thorpe, Campaigns and Policy Officer of the Vegan Society. In this interview, Tim speaks about veganism, the environment, farming, and food policy in the UK and Europe.

This week's episode features my interview with Tim Thorpe, Campaigns and Policy Officer of the Vegan Society in the UK. With a background in environmental science, Tim takes the lead on the Vegan Society's Grow Green campaign (https://www.vegansociety.com/take-action/campaigns/grow-green). In this interview, Tim tells me about the Vegan Society’s advocacy work to change government policies related to food and agriculture in the UK and Europe. He also explains how a global shift to a vegan diet is essential if we are to address the serious environmental problems that the world faces today, including species extinction and land degradation. This is a thought-provoking interview for those of us who are curious about policy changes that could help animals by promoting a shift to plant-based diets and farming. By the way, here are the results of the survey that I conducted with Vegan Option Canada in 2019: https://veganoptioncanada.org/en/news/the-results-are-in-heres-what-canadian-vegans-said-in-our-vegan-rights-survey/.
