Gentrification has often been seen as problematic, due to its prevalence towards displacing low-income families. With more 'development' entering these communities, small businesses have often been priced out. Recently, Canadian artist Cadence Weapon wrote a phenomenal article titled 'Gentrification of the Mind', where he reflects on the intersection of art and gentrification. This week on White Rabbit, Dylan and Reina give their thoughts on the topic of gentrification in Ottawa.
