Hi Ladies. I'm a 64-yr old year-round cyclist. I enjoyed your show about cycling today and I'm a little uncomfortable when there's too much attention paid to the traffic violations by cyclists....it almost sounds like cyclists die because of their own fault. Your show needs to focus on why cyclists die when they're obeying the law because the hard fact is that motorists are unaware of most cyclists who a're obeying the law...the movement of a bike is so smooth that it blends in the background. There needs to be a greater emphasis on cycling safety beginning with drivers ed. Drivers need to get it hard-wired to look for cyclists ALWAYS. Getting your license should involve an essay question about the ways that drivers need to share the road with cyclists. Hope this helps.
