(Taken from Facebook Event page: "A monthly showcase of folks trying new things, emerging performance artists and brilliant performers who’ve been at it awhile. Anything from improv to stand-up comedy, storytelling and music, authors, poets, and things that can’t quite be categorized. You never really know what might happen, but you can be certain it’ll be kind, and curious. Monday, November 8th features a tribute to spoken word poet Inez Dekker, music by Amanda Lowe W., clowning by b!WILDer, author Suzanne Evans reading from her award-winning book A Taste of Longing. At the Almonte Old Town Hall, 14 Bridge Street. Doors open at 6:30 and the show starts at 7pm. Tickets are $20, but no one will be turned away due to lack of funds (email for details). Proof of vaccination required as mandated by the government. The monies go toward paying for the venue and performers, and creating affordable programming at our smaller space at 98 Mill Street in Almonte.
