Some would go on like the new york dolls and cement their place in rock’n’roll history, for the bands that they would inspire and infeuence - a string of punk and garage bands in their wake - out of new york, toronto and england.…next hour we will here songs from the Heartbreakers - the original - The Beat - the American band fronted by Paul Collins, The Gorillas, Suicide, Rich kids, the Raincoats and much much more…..but first up is a band who is known for the song that they wrote but another group made famous - Hanging on the Telephone - that is the Nerves but we will here their song One Way Ticket…………….
