March 12 6-9pm: Trans Women/ Transfemine Social, 222 Somerset St. W: It is a social group where support comes organically from being among other trans women and trans feminine folks playing games, chatting, eating snacks, reading. It doesn’t matter what you want to do while there, just come and be among people.
March 15 7-9:30pm: Queer Eye Season 3 Viewing Party, Happy Goat Coffee Co 35 Rue Laurel St: Feminist Twins in collaboration with Happy Goat Coffee are hosting Queer Eye Season 3 Viewing Party. This event is *FREE* though folks who would like to donate at the door can. Any funds raised will go to future Feminist Twins events. Eventbrite link is below. There is no age restrictions to this event. If you would like to bring pillows, wear pjs or anything to feel comfortable, then you are encouraged to do so.
March 8 6:30-9pm: Feminist Mixer - International Women's Day, Happy Goat Coffee Co 35 Rue Laurel St: There will be free treats on site, a coloring table for kids and people who like to color, photographer, music, and more! There will also be a few short speeches at 7:30pm. Happy Goat also sells beverages, which will be available by purchase.
March 18 6:30-8pm: Consent & Communication Workshop, Venus Envy 226 Bank St: This event In this workshop, we'll have an in-depth discussion about practicing consent in our sexual relationships. We'll also talk about building confidence and figuring out how the heck to communicate about sex. Totally applicable to long-term partnerships AND one night tinder business. March 8 10-1am: Mardis Gras Masquerade, The Lookout Bar 41 York St: Come party like you're in New Orleans with us on March 8th, for our official Mardis Gras Masquerade. We're celebrating with a night filled with drag, gogo dancers, themed drinks, and Mardis Gras beads and masks. We will be giving out prizes for best Mardis Gras costume, and having random draws all night long, including bar tabs, and free cover. Hosting the evening we will have Devona Coe and her guests, Savannah and Icesis Couture. Cover is $10
