Psychotronic Composition – Conversations with 2 Hollywood Composers, 2 Grindhouse Detours and a team behind a Netflix Documentary

This broadcast is another Psychotronic Composition. It's merges the prestigious with the strange making the prestige strange and all guided through movie music. Welcome back to Mystic & Severe! Co Directors Cristina Constantini & Kareem Tabsch as well as Producer Alex Fumero of the Netflix documentary 'Mucho Mucho Amor,' are the first to get interviewed. Then we'll hear from our first Film Composer of the Broadcast: Marlon Espino who has a film called 'Inheritance,' that he did the music for that you can check out right now. Then it's all about the Living Dead with Travis Crawford who as a Film Historian is trending over his upcoming commentary track for 'Dawn of the Dead,' coming to the U.K. this fall. He doesn't saturate that topic but expands it for a chat about 'Night of the Living Dead.' The next conversation is Carl Johnson who composes mostly for kids shows such as the new 'Looney Tunes,' but he also chats about working on 'Skyfall,' as well as his admiration of John Barry. The final conversation is with Pete Roberts who runs a site called 'Grindhouse Cinema Database,' which is a wiki for these kinds of movies. Tracks from 'Teorema,' 'Hellraiser 3,' 'Day of the Dead,' 'Thunderball,' 'Super Fly,' & 'From Russia with Love,' are there to break things up. R.I.P. to Ennio Morricone who made the track that this show is named off and was included in this broadcast before the announcement of his death. The track is from the Pier Paolo Pasolini film 'Teorama,' which you can hear before the first interview and is a nice Mystical set up. Thanks for the work, Maestro.
