Berlinale Comedic - Festival Coverage with a lighter twist

Every film festival is reassessing their approach this year but this show still has coverage from on the ground of the 70th edition of the Berlin International Film Festival! This broadcast was assembled at home but will be live for the first time in 6 weeks. The one on one interviews are with Director Prateek Vats who made the Indian comedy 'EEP ALLAY OOO,' Canadian Kazik Radwanski who made the drama with comedic elements 'Anne at 13,000 Ft.,' & a German named Bastian Günther who made a debatably categorical comedy called 'One of these Days.' There is a roundtable interview as well with Actress Blanche Gardin as well as Directors Benoît Delépine & Gustave Kervern for their film 'Delete History,' which won the Silver Bear at the Berlinale. There are going to be reviews for 3 short films at the Tribeca Film Festival called 'A Better You, 'Query,' & 'Gets Good Light.' The Tribeca Film festival is simply streaming for press and industry this year in a twist that may be the future for every upcoming film festival this year. There'll be reviews for 'Bacurau,' which is streaming now at digital theaters so check that out here: https://kinonow.com/bacurau-flc also there are reviews for the documentary 'Streetlight Harmonies,' and feature 'Inside the Rain,' which are available on iTunes. Streaming on Film Movement Plus starting April 17th is a film called 'A White, White Day,' which gets reviewed as well as all Berlinale movies with an interview and the Comedic Berlinale movies which are: 'The Woman Who Ran,' 'Bad Tales,' 'Curveball,' & 'My Salinger Year,' which was the opening film at the festival. Expect the usually trippy & gritty soundtrack tracks to break things up nicely as well!
