Ok. I'll tell you a new story. Whenever i hear hardcore/punk i think of Roch. When I was in dyalisis when I moved here, this guy who was being driven with me in the the volunteer car, always had a Ramones tshirt on! 3 days a week!!! Every week!!! So, i got to talking with him and he saw the Ramones 4 times in Montréal!!! One time, at The Brique (absolutely dreadful concert venue) he's standing in front of the speakers when Johnny Ramone hit his first chord, he went flying !!! Fell on his back!!! Here's one for Roch!!! Cheers!

CKCU had the first punk show, called No Future Now. It was hosted by a guy called Roch Parisien, he introduced me to punk rock. He did an amazing show, but it was a real let down when you'd go to some hardcore show in a dingy community center basement and there was this civil servant looking guy who was there always trying to get his punk records autographed. It was almost a let down when someone told me that was Roch who hosted No Future Now. In my mind Roch looked like something from the Road Warrior franchise....but no, he was just a normal 9-5 office worker.
