Yes, Screaming Bamboo were a very fine band. I did see them at the Underground a couple of times as well as at the Beacon Arms. (Fyfe and Drum I think). They were as good as any "new wave " band as you could ever hope to see. Can't wait to go back to hear their version of Venus. Strangely enough, the original single was one of the first records I ever bought.
